BrownThink is a Brown University, undergraduate public policy competition sponsored by the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University. BrownThink provides students who are not necessarily public policy concentrators with a venue to collaborate and think critically about how to handle issues facing America. BrownThink is formatted as a conference and friendly competition between teams and individuals who have to devise a practical and creative reform to a specific national policy problem. The team or individual who devises a proposal that meets the judges’ standards receives a small cash prize, a certificate, and their proposal submitted to a venue that works in the field relevant to this year’s competition. This two-day event will be divided, respectively, into “Hashing Out The Issue” and “Working To Solve The Problem.”
